judge me

“Value judgments are destructive to our proper business, which is curiosity and awareness.” (john cage)

art gotta do

"Die moderne Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts hat eine sehr, sehr gute Arbeit geleistet. Welche Arbeit? Die Augen der Leute zu öffnen. Was Besseres hätte man da machen können? Aber jetzt müssen wir unsere Aufmerksamkeit anderen Dingen zuwenden, und diese Dinge sind sozial." (John Cage, 1986)

rhtyhms and daily routines

Edward B. Gordon - on iNCONTEXT.TV from dutch rall on Vimeo.
in a scripts writing course the tutors advised us: "get a pen, paper and an egg timer. set the egg timer to ten minutes and start writing no matter what. only rule: don't put down the pen, don't stop moving that hand. and if nothing comes to your mind, write: "nothing comes to my mind". you will be surprised what will come to your mind in the end.
this is a good way to overcome writers block. and if you make it a daily routine, it will increase your writing skills tremendously."
